Our Mission: To provide care for your child both during the school year and summer break through academic, physical health, social and creative opportunities that promote self-esteem and life success.
We offer a safe, welcoming environment for your child to learn and grow with the added touch of family owned center and supportive care. Let us take the worry out of getting homework done, and provide a fun environment for your child to learn and grow.
I have worked in child care for 15 years and in the school district for 3 year as a part time bus driver. I have volunteered, substitute taught, and have been an active member on the PTO and SIC board in district 5 in years past. I am a mother of 2 boys. I began my childcare career at the YMCA in the childcare area and advanced into the position of Site Director of After School, Mothers Morning Off, Summer Camp and Youth Sports. After 6 years with the YMCA I was asked to provide my services as Director with another local after school facility and after getting their business up and running I felt it was time to get my own facility up and running and so Kidz Klub was born.
Education: Kidz Klub is dedicated in being there for not only your child but your family as a whole. We understand that all families are busy these days with after school activities and programs so we will do everything in our power to help take the stress of homework out of the equation for you. The staff will provide homework help and positive reinforcement for each child. With DSS compliance student/teacher ratios our staff will assist your child in every way possible to complete their daily studies and successes.

Safety
Your child’s safety is our first priority. When picked up at each school, our bus drivers make sure each child is accounted for, with any absentees verified with the school prior to departure. Upon arrival at Jump Start, your child is checked in again by their age-group teachers. All children enter through a secure, auto-locking door, and no child leaves without parental accompaniment or permission.
Facilities
Kidz Klub is located in a nice quite area of Lyman and is located away from the busy main streets. We have lots of grass area to play football, soccer, baseball, basketball court and about any other sport you could think of safely. We also have a nice indoor game room that includes air hockey, foosball, indoor basketball ping pong and fun indoor games like hockey, jump rope, scooters and games. We have 3 computer stations that are linked to your child's D5 school class so anything that they work on or practice can be seen and count towards their class at school. All computer use is monitored.
Our classrooms are set up with your child's learning in mind. Our younger classroom is for grades K4 - 3rd and the other classroom is 4th - 6th. Both classrooms are stocked with tons of books and independent activities. We have independent reading areas set up in both classes as well as DVR for special movie days.
Staff
You can feel confident that your child is being cared for by not only a great staff, but trained staff as well. Every individual employed at Kidz Klub has undergone a thorough interview and background check ran prior to their hire. All staff is trained and certified in first aid, and CPR in both child and adult. Beyond this, our staff is regularly trained through the Department of Social Services further education and certification programs. Your child will be treated with love and support from all staff.

Affordability
Quality child care does not have to be expensive. At Kidz Klub, you will find affordable single day,3-day, and 5-day options for both after-school and summer camp programs, with a discount for each additional child.
We offer auto draft weekly or bi-weekly and accept cash, check, debit and credit.
Kidz Klub also participates in the Depart of Social Services (DSS) voucher program. This program is available for those families who may need a little extra help with child care. To find out more about this program please visit https://dss.sc.gov for more information.
Meet our staff:
Born and raised in Greenville, SC. Mother of Machelle Harvley and 1 son. I currently work full time at NHC Healthcare in Greenville, and part-time at Cracker-Barrel in Duncan, and help out when I can at Kidz Klub because I love spending time with the kids. I hope to retire in the next year or so from my healthcare position and become a full time care giver at Kidz Klub.
